Topic 01 of 11: Qatar - Manage Booking
Agency থেকে Ticket কাটলেও, নিমোক্ত বিষয়গুলা করার জন্যে, > Qatar website এর 'My trip' section এ গিয়ে 'Booking reference + Last name' দিয়ে 'Retrieve booking' দিতে হবে;
i. Seat selection
ii. Meal preferance
iii. Change flight (Date Reschedule)
Topic 02 of 11: 'Qatar Airways' app
★★ Playstore থেকে 'Qatar Airways' app download করে connect করে রাখতে হবে।

** কারণ date change করলেও, qatar থেকে অনেক সময় ইমেইল আসে না।
আমার দুই বন্ধুর Dac to Doha এর Flight টা cancel হইলেও কোন Email আসে নাই, App এর মাঝে 'Not Confirmed' লিখা দেখে আমরা বুঝতে পারসিলাম যে, কোন একটা ঝামেলা হইসে।

Topic 03 of 11: Extra luggage facility with Student Club
Student Club এ join করার মাধ্যমে একটা extra 23 Kg এর baggage নেওয়া যাবে। কিন্তু সম্পূর্ণ Flight টা Qatar airways দ্বারা operated হইতে হবে। তো দুঃখের বিষয় হইলো এই যে, কেবলমাত্র ★ Dhaka - Doha - Montreal এর total flight টাই Qatar airways দ্বারা operated হয়, Dhaka to অন্য কোন কোন Canadian City এর সম্পূর্ণ flight গুলো Qatar airways দ্বারা operated হয় না। So, Toronto সহ অন্য যেকোন City এর জন্য এই সুবিধা পাবেন না। Only এই সুবিধা টা পাবে, Dhaka - Doha - Montreal এর Student club Member রা।
<> তার মানে আপনার Port of Entry & Final Destination উভয়টাই যদি "Montreal" হয়ে থাকে, তাহলেই কেবলমাত্র এই 3rd (Extra) 23 Kg এর baggage নেওয়া যাবে।
<> আপনার E-ticket এ কিন্তু দু'টো ২৩ কেজি এর লাগেজ এর কথাই লিখা থাকবে, সেইটা নিয়ে চিন্তার কিছু নাই। উপরের উল্লেখিত শর্ত পালনের মাধ্যমে Montreal এ ৩ টা 23 kg এর লাগেজ নিতে পারবেন আপনি।

>> Varsity offer letter or Student ID card দিয়ে Burgundy Student Club member হওয়া যাবে।
>> Account খোলার পর Student Club Card এর একটা Pic এসে যাবে Email এ, এইটার printout সাথে নিয়ে যেতে হবে Airport এ
>> age 30 এর উপর হলে Student Club member হওয়া যাবে না
Topic 05 of 11: Ticket agency vs Student Club account
Faq: আমি Agency দিয়ে টিকেট কেটেছি, তাহলে কিভাবে Student club এর সুবিধাগুলা পাবো?
Ans:
Step part A:
i. প্রথমে Student club account open করতে হবে
ii. তারপর Qatar website এ Login করে 'Dashboard' এর 'Add a trip' option এ যেতে হবে
iii. তারপর 'Booking reference + Last name' দিয়ে নিজের Student club account এ Trip add করতে হবে।
Step part B:
এইবার ★Qatar Canada তে Call দিয়ে আবারো Student club এর সাথে আপনার Air ticket টা connect করাইতে হবে। তাহলে Plane এ Super Wifi এর সুযোগটা পাবেন।

<< Agency দিয়ে Ticket করার পর কিন্তু Manage Booking এর মাধ্যমে নিজের ইচ্ছামতো Date Reschedule এর option টা থাকে না। আর এই সুযোগে Agency আপনার থেকে Reschedule এর জন্যে Extra Charge নিতে থাকবে। এমনকি তারা আপনাকে ভুল Info দিবে যে, আপনি Agency কে ছাড়া Rechedule করাইতেই পারবেন না। এই ধারণা কিন্তু ভুল।
< আপনি Manage booking এর মাধ্যমে Reschedule সহ, Student club এর Privilage পাইতে চাইলে, Qatar Canada এর Customer care এ কথা বলে টিকেট টা connect করাইতে হবে।

আমার Friend 'Riniyad' agency দিয়ে Ticket করলেও, এই system এর মাধ্যমে Dac to Montreal এর Trip এ ৩ টা 23 Kg এর baggage নিতে পারসিলো।

Faq: আমার Final destination তো Montreal না, তার মানে আমি তো Extra baggage এর সুবিধা পাবো না। তাহলে আমি Student club account কেনো খুলবো?

iv. Complimentary Super Wi-Fi (যেখানে অন্যদের জন্যে Wifi 1 hou থাকে, সেখানে Super Wi-Fi থাকে Complete Duration এর জন্যে)

Topic 07 of 11: Warning about Extra Baggage facilities
Faq: My final destination is Vancouver and my port of entry is Montreal. I am flying from Dhaka. I will be flying to Montreal by Qatar airways, and the rest of my flight to Vancouver will be by Air Canada.
@@@ So, আমি কি extra luggage privilege টা Montreal পর্যন্ত পাবো?? তারপর Air Canada কে আমি extra luggage এর জন্যে বাকি টাকাটা pay করে দিলাম? @@@@ Or, যেহেতু আমার Air Canada এর connecting flight আছে, তাই আমি এই facility টা একেবারেই পাবো না??

এটি পড়ার আগে Topic 03 এর লিখাটা দেখে আসুন
(Read Carefully) গত 25 april এ Moni আপু যখন Montreal হয়ে Edmonton এ গিয়েছেন, তখন Dhaka to Montreal পর্যন্ত Extra 3rd luggage টা ফ্রীতে নিতে পেরেছেন, as a Student Club Member...
অথচ, 18 May তে Ms. Das যখন Montreal হয়ে St. John's এ গিয়েছেন, তখন Dhaka airport থেকে Montreal পর্যন্তও Extra 3rd luggage টা ফ্রীতে নিতে দেয় নাই। Student club member হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তাকে সম্ভবত প্রায় 21k BDT জরিমানা গুণতে হয়েছে।
তাই, যদি আপনার Port of Entry টা Montreal হয়েও থাকে, কিন্তু Final Destination যদি Montreal ছাড়া অন্য কোন City হয়, তাহলে অবশ্যই Extra 3rd luggage নিবেন না। অনেকেই হয়তো ভাগ্যের কারণে ফ্রীতে পেয়ে গেছে, তাই বলে আপনি Risk নিতে যাবেন না।

Qatar কে Email করলে তারা directly Email এ Reply না দিয়ে, Website এর Contact centre দিয়ে যোগাযোগ করতে বলে

Question-answer part 1 of 4 with Qatar
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Souvik Roy, and my Burgundy Student Club member number 54XXXXX.
Booking reference (PNR) K4XXXX Dhaka to Doha & Doha to Montreal
Please assure me that, could I take the following baggage?
i. Checked baggage Three(03) pieces of 23 Kgs
ii. Hand Baggage One(01) piece of 7 Kgs
iii. One(01) piece Laptop Bag
My main question is, Could I take 'Three(03) pieces Checked baggage of 23 Kgs' with me?
As in my eticket, it is written that I am allowed to take Two(02) pieces of checked baggage. But from this website, I got to know that, "as a Burgundy Student Club member, I can take an additional one more piece of baggage on flights."
Please confirm this confusion.

Suppose, I book a ticket from Dac to Doha to Montreal to Regina.
Dac to Montreal flight operator is Qatar and Montreal to Regina flight operator is Air Canada.
As a student club member, am I allowed to carry 03 check-in luggage from Dac to Doha to Montreal to Regina?

Suppose, My final destination is Vancouver and my port of entry is Montreal. I am flying from Dhaka. I will be flying to Montreal by Qatar airways, and the rest of my flight to Vancouver will be by Air Canada. @@@ So, am I going to get the extra luggage privilege till Montreal as a student club member ?? After that, Do I have to pay air Canada for my extra luggage? @@@@ Or, As there is a connecting flight in my itinerary, I am not getting this facility altogether??

Suppose, My wife is also a student club member, & she created her student club profile with a valid Student Card of a Bangladeshi University. She will fly with me on Spouse visa (Not with student visa). That's mean she is not going to Canada to study.
***Will be she also allowed to take a piece of extra checked baggage of 23kg? Will be we allowed to take a total of Six(06) checked luggage of 23 kg?***

Spouse এর বয়স যদি ৩০ এর নিচে হয়, তার জন্যে student club কাজ করবে কিনা?

> To avail of the extra baggage allowance, the Student Member has to present the digital Student Club card at the time of check in.
